Sheila and Mal look forward to welcoming you to Strand Bank  Bed & Breakfast, a modern and spacious bungalow nestling in a peaceful valley on the banks of the River Caldew, at the edge of the Northern Fells of the Lake District National Park.

We are situated just 100 metres from the Cumbria Way, 1 mile from the Reivers cycle route, and offer a warm welcome to walkers and cyclists. The picturesque Lakeland villages of Caldbeck and Hesket Newmarket are just 3 miles along the river and we offer a pick up and drop off service for walkers; we also offer this service to those taking the Cumbria Way route via Bassenthwaite.

Strand Bank is enclosed by an acre of garden, newly planted woodland and river bank and is host to a great variety of wildlife, including our native red squirrels.

We will make every effort to make sure that your stay with us is a memorable one. The atmosphere is one of relaxation and comfort and our aim will be to ensure that you feel very much at home.
